Step by Step
- Grab the base, foal or import, they'll use the same. Make sure to download the right file size too, it NEEDS to be 3408x2045px.
- Take a look at the genes, if you don't know how genos work, feel free to ask for help in the server. If you know, grab all the references needed, keep in mind that albus are on the more realistic side, so markings and colors are from real horses or our own breed colors. Do color pick first, then you might adapt. (PS: we're updating the AlbuAdmin gallery with phenos and genos so you can color search to have official options to look)
- Upload the FULL RES design on stash and head to the discord server.
- Fill the fixed message on #custom-registry or #foal-registry, if you don't have discord, do send the group a note, but discord is the best place for staff to keep track of the designs pending.
- Now wait for staff to approve or ask for changes, we'll try to upload things asap! Have fun!
- PS: If you're breeding a swan kuda, we can help with the genetics, but the lines for it are from Kuda-Pariso group, so you'll ultimately need to send them a note for the official transfer of the design to their lines! Same applies for any other strain of cross, we're not the line owners!
Pocket Gene Guide
As a breed that allow owners to choose the genes of the foals and don't generate them with a roller, here's a small guide on how they work on most HARPG breeds.
First of all, the basic lingo:
Het or Heterozygous: one copy of a gene, it's normally written with an "n" on the beggining. Example: nBl (Heterozygous Blau)
Homo or Homozygous: two copies of a gene, example: BlBl (Homozygous Blau)
Dominant: the gene needs just one copy (Heterozygous) for it to show, for example Tobiano (nTo)
Recessive: the gene needs two copies for it to show, like rosado (rsrs)
Now that you know these words, let's play with the real genes and a hypothetical foal

Maestro Artista: EE aa CaCa nCh rs

Ebony Rose: Ee Aa nSty nO rs

We have parents genes, now how to correctly make a foal gene from these two?
Have in mind that each parent gives ONE gene for each "pair of letters". For example, Maestro can give "n" or "Ch" to the foal, as he is nCh.
However just describing might be confusing, so use this lil chart when in doubt:

Maestro genes are on top line and Ebony genes are on left column. This applies to ALL genes.
This "n" letter means the lack of the gene, so if you get "nn", basically that gene gets excluded and you don't need to show it.
From the charts we can safely say that this pairing has 50% chance of giving Champagne and 100% of giving Cava to the foal.
Any questions, you're more than welcome to ask in our help channel!
